Last days
Five animals were lifted out of Marineland by crane, to be trucked to the Hawke's Bay Airport and airlifted to Auckland in an RNZAF Hercules, destined for Sea World, Gold Coast, Australia.

Charitable Christmas
L-R: Garth Forbes, dentist, Amanda Hita, Hastings, patient, Francesca Davison, newly qualified dental assistant - About 130 people queued outside Dentist on Raffles in Napier, to get free emergency dental work at a Community Dental Day where dentists and staff gave their time for free. There was a queue of about 50m at 8am.

7-10pm. Hundreds left as the light rain set in, at Christmas at the Park, Anderson Park, Napier.
