Jackie Gibbes and Richard Cuthbert, developers from Triple R Lifestyles in Takapau, have served High Court documents on Central Hawke's Bay mayor Peter Butler and three of his council's staff, at Central Hawke's Bay District Council in Waipawa.

Serious Crash Unit investigation and clean-up after a fatal accident n which a seven year-old boy died, on the Hawke's Bay Expressway (SH2B) in Napier. He was in a car that hit another vehicle that had stopped in a line of traffic at a roadworks site on the bridge between the Prebensen Rd roundabout and Meeanee Quay.
Jim Clayton, 98, Poraiti, Napier, is giving $100,000 to Taradale Primary School for music scholarships in memory of his brother Sydney Clayton, who died in WW2.
