Living the Dream

"When a city hosts God:

"Young man with drug addiction and demon possession was driving from Washington to San Diego to visit family. When he hit the Redding city limits his demons started manifesting. He stopped car started running along side of highway crying out to God for help.

He was sovereignly delivered from demons and drug addiction, got back into car and arrived in San Diego a new man. (His family are friends with Pastor at Bethel Church).

"Be Carriers of God's Fragrance

"I had just come in from picking flowers from my garden when I heard the Lord speak to me.

Encounters with the King photograph
Encounters with the King
"My child, while you are a carrier of My light, you also carry My fragrance. I watch you when you pick a flower; you walk around holding it under your nose enjoying the perfume. My precious one, you are like that flower and My angels follow you enjoying your beautiful fragrance.""

Tomorrow Today is a series of excerpts from books by Lynette Love, who regularly encounters heaven - and Jesus - and Holy Spirit - and Father - now, in this life, today.

My prayer is that you also might experience Him, and that in your own daily walk you might hear His voice, and see His face, and know His love - now, in this life, today.

Living the Dream

"The Performance of Rest - PROVISION!

"I direct a crime reduction project for our local police department. God has blessed this program with amazing favor since 2013 as I came to the job with no prior criminal justice experience!

One probation program provides addiction treatment, counseling, job readiness and skill training and life skills. It's the first program of its kind in the state. My grant funding ends next March. Finding permanent funding is my responsibility so I've been in prayer for months about how to achieve this.

We were turned down on two grants. We talked with the Asst Commissioner of the State. He seemed very favorable we could work something out. But with a billion dollar budget to operate all the prisons and probation offices across the state our $150k budget seemed to get lost and we never heard back from them. I sent a few inquiries and then heard from another state agency that I shouldn't count on the state corrections department to fund our program.

As our funding time is fading fast I reminded myself of the chapter in "God With You At Work" about The Performance of Rest. I decided to rest in God trusting that He would find $150k with the right agency in order that the program design will not be changed.

A few weeks ago I was told again by some state leaders not to expect the Dept of Corrections to come through on this but I’D DETERMINED MY WORK WAS TO REST SO I WASN’T GOING TO WORRY ABOUT IT.

This week my husband and I are on vacation. Yesterday on the beach my phone kept ringing from several numbers I didn't recognize. Being on vacation I let them go to voicemail. Finally when it rang again I thought I'd answer and there RESTING on the beach the Asst Commissioner of the state Dept of Corrections called to commit permanent funding for the program asking me for the budget then apologizing for calling while I was on vacation.

It's so good to be in business as God's kid!

In the spirit we walk together out onto the porch where three demons are standing. Seeing us they immediately start screaming and covering their eyes.

"Why are they screaming my Lord?"

"It's my Blood. You are covered in My Blood and it's burning their eyes. It is like acid to them."  "

"Something to mess with your normal Sunday....

"Call came into church that someone had died. Lady in the church prayed for 16hrs until she felt a release. The dead man was in the morgue. At that time he unzipped himself and was back at work two days later. (‪#‎FREAKMEOUT‬ ‪#‎ZOMBIES‬???)

"Jim was at a Class in a university on religion and cults. He spoke on religion then says "It either true or it's not so we will demonstrate. Who needs healing?" Woman comes up with completely torn ACL tendon. Man prays briefly and woman is completely healed. Class astounded. They all stand and applaud.

"The Lamington Puzzle

Just the other day I was enjoying eating a lamington.

"I see you are enjoying your lamington my child."

Encounters with the King photograph
Encounters with the King
"It is really yummy, thank you Jesus."

"Tell Me, what does it taste like?"

"Jesus I know, You know what a lamington tastes like but I will try and explain it to you. It has really smooth, rich chocolate on the outside."

"But what say, others don't know what chocolate tastes like, My child?"

"Well, there is coconut covering the chocolate and that makes it taste like..."

"Let's say they do not know what coconut looks like or how it feels or tastes."

"Jesus this is getting very hard for me to explain about the lamington; it does have sponge on the inside."

"What does sponge taste and look like My daughter?"

"Lord, it is too hard for me to explain all that a lamington is; I just don't know how to. I can't find the words to fully explain it."

"As it is difficult to describe completely what a lamington is, it is impossible to describe the fullness of 'I AM' but I do invite all to - 'Taste' and see that I AM is good."
Psalm 34: 8 Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good.
[Editor's note: For my non-Kiwi readers, a lamington is sponge cake covered in chocolate or raspberry sauce with coconut sprinkled on top. More info on Wikipedia]
