A policeman runs onto the property after a man was heard yelling loudly - St John Ambulance and police attended an incident outside a block of flats in Karamu Rd South, Hastings, where witnesses said a man was injured when a woman drove a car into him. A man was taken to Hawke's Bay Hospital and police escorted a woman from the property.  photograph

Family returns favour to Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter
Eight years ago, Napier woman Sheree Yates was rushed to Waikato Hospital by the Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter. In a couple of weeks, her family will take part in the Air New Zealand Hawke's Bay International Marathon to raise funds for the service.
