Living the Dream
"Eight year old boy having 10 seizures per day and 7 each night. His parents brought family to Redding specifically for him to be healed. After three weeks in this environment his seizures had dropped to 7 per day and 3 per night. At Wednesday evening kids class, leader asked kids if there was anyone with learning disorders. Boy blurted out 'I have seizures.' They brought him up front and got all kids to pray for him. Childrens’ team saw a vision of Jesus 1000 feet tall and the seizures the size of an ant. So, in a nonchalant tone the kids all said "Seizures, leave him alone." Four days later (Sunday) the boy came bursting into kids class saying "I haven't had any more seizures!" One and half months later we received report there were still no seizures."

Living the Dream
"Woman working in accounting department heard that her supervisor was being treated for breast cancer and ovarian cancer. She approached her supervisor and asked if she could pray with her. The supervisor agreed and asked if she could pray with her weekly. Woman agreed. In 3 months the supervisor came in to work ran up to the woman, hug her and said, "I am cancer free! Do you have a prayer circle I can be a part of to pray for others?" The woman didn't have one, but right then created one. In two weeks 11 co-workers joined this prayer circle and weekly takes prayer requests from employees. Redding, Ca"

Maybe God knew
So, is it better to be single and lonely, or to be lonely within in a marriage? And which is worse, to remain lonely in a marriage, or to consider a future alone? And if you had a choice, is it better to have lost a loved one through death or divorce, or to have never loved at all? To have at least some memories or to never have taken the risk?
In Genesis, God said, "It is not good that Man should be alone," speaking specifically of Man's potential relationship with Woman. But here's a thought: To be alone does not inherently mean to be lonely. There are times we need to be by ourselves.
In Psalms, David writes that, "God sets the solitary in families," but just being "in a relationship" doesn't imply you'll never feel lonely.
Maybe it's a coincidence, that having written thus far, I came across the following blog post by Rick Warren:

Loneliness is a time to become better acquainted with God. In your season of loneliness, you need to recognize God’s presence.Maybe it's a coincidence that the very next day, I came across the following video by Shimi Cohen, entitled The Innovation of Loneliness, where he explores the relationship between connectedness and conversation in social media:
Maybe God knew what was on my mind....
Maybe I just need to take the time to soothe my soul....

Living the Dream
"A family purchased a $1200 dog, Not long afterwards it wasn't doing well. Something was blocking and causing inflammation of intestines. They took it to the vet who did a diagnosis and said their choices were $4000 surgery (that wasn't guaranteed) or $200 euthanasia. The family took the dog home to decide. There was no way the dog could live because of blockage. It was starting to die. Six year old then said "Why are we crying? we should pray." The children started praying in tongues and singing over dog which had been lying motionless on the lounge floor. The Mom called out to the kids "Do you want to go outside?" The dog jumped up ran outside, ran around back yard couple times, pooped out blockage and is now 100%!"

Who cares?
Just some of the people who are paid to care:
care-givers
psychiatrists
police
employers and managers
politicians
teachers and principals
shop assistants
nurses/doctors/medical staff
-----
People who may well care, but don't have to
colleagues
acquaintances
neighbours
subordinates
-----
People who are expected to care:
spouses
kids
parents
friends
fellow-parishioners
-----
So here's the question:
how do I feel when those that should care, don't?
and, for whom do I really care,
and, for whom do I really care,
and actually, what does it look like?

Living the Dream
"Healed in the atmosphere: Real estate business owner from Arizona returned from Heaven in Business workshop and suddenly realized she no longer had knee pain walking down stairs. For as long as she could remember, her left knee had hurt when she went down stairs. She emailed saying "I am pleased. I didn't even think to ask for prayer about it. So it was a "Just because I love you." How cool is that? It wasn't debilitating, just painful. I have no idea when it happened. I just discovered today it was gone. It's my new normal! That has never happened with any other business conference I have attended." "
