Full house for Kapa Haka Festival
Irongate Primary School's middle school kapa haka group from Flaxmere, Hastings, performing at the four-day Ngati Kahungunu Primary Schools' Kapa Haka Festival at Bay City Outreach Centre, Hastings.

Regular 91 selling for 150.7 cents at Gull Service Station, Karamu Rd, Hastings - Petrol prices in Hastings ranged from 150.7 cents at Gull Karamu, to 169.9 cents at BP, Railway Rd, Hastings. The Gull special lasted till 12 noon 22 September.

Julian Raphael, a community musician and Jeremy Fitzsimons and Yoshiko Tsuruta, a marimba and percussion duo entertained children and adults from Fairhaven School, Kowhai Schools and Hohepa Hawke's Bay, at the Hawke's Bay Opera House Plaza, Hastings.
