February was the driest month in Napier for a long time, as evidenced in this dry grass at Bluff Hill Lookout, Napier.

Ouch
A cyclist on the walkway/cycleway, hit a car pulling out of BayFresh, Havelock Rd, Havelock North, smashing the car's windscreen. Police, fire service, St John Ambulance attended.
