Graham Palmer, Napier - Erosion of the beach and the shingle bank near the Westshore Surf Lifesaving Club, Westshore Beach, Westshore, Napier, after higher than usual seas at the weekend.

Smashed

A nearby property already gone - Emergency services were called to 7 Clifton Rd, Haumoana, at the weekend when part of the property colapsed in higher than usual seas.

Aiming high

Most of the kids in this photo are from the warmer region of Kaio, Northland, dressed for the cooler weather on the playground at Russell Park, Waipukurau.

Smoke, mist over Heretaunga Plains between Te Mata Peak, Havelock North and Napier Hill, Napier.

Scary

This may have been the tree in question - Police, St John Ambulance and the fire service were called to Te Mata Peak, Havelock North, to search for a person after someone heard a tree crashing and a scream. Pictured near the Little Redwoods.
