Living the Dream
"Here is a testimony from when Andy and Janine Mason were with us last weekend: "Hey PS. Just wanted to share a testimony from Saturday night. Had an ankle problem in my left leg for 5 years. Get up most nights restless because of pain. Was really depressing me. On Saturday night when the visiting preacher was praying for "knees" I asked The Lord to touch my ankle. GONE. INSTANTLY. Pain free week. No more panadol. How good is GOD. Thank you.""

Living the Dream
"Atheist businessman married to praying wife. He declared “There is no way there is something out there, beside…me.” Six weeks ago, in midst of challenging business situation, his wife said “Why don’t you just let go, give it a shot, try to believe in this thing God.” He said, “Fine I will do it.”
“I opened myself up to listen. I had very vivid dreams for some reason… voice in my head about what to do…. made lot changes (in the business) in six weeks. Made deals [with the Voice in his head] where I asked for something and got that. In order to get the deal I had to go to a church and tell the bishop what happened.”
Business was turning around in response to him listening and making deals with the ‘Voice.’ Two weeks ago his wife asked him to come to Bethel with her. The Voice said to him, “You should go.” In the morning service he felt hair stand up on back of neck – felt the Presence of God. “I thought if I go up here (Bethel) and if I'm going to believe, I will get baptized if I feel like getting baptized.” That Sunday morning Bethel announced baptisms for the evening so he got baptized and is now no longer an atheist. He has met the Voice."

Living the Dream
"Female prison chaplain was confined to wheelchair for last 2yrs. She went in to a maximum security Texas prison to minister to the faith-based inmate group. They asked to pray for her and she agreed. She politely thanked them then was about to continue when they interrupted her and asked her to test out whether God had healed her. A little surprised she agreed and attempted to stand. To her great surprise her legs were fully strong and she started dancing around the prison chapel. She went into the prison in a wheelchair and walked out! Huntsville, TX"

Quips & Quotes
Jeremy Dwyer: (before a tennis match) Once again into the fray, my knobbly kneecaps go; Two bold patellas on display, it's really quite a show.
(And yes, I've since learnt the correct word is patellae, but that's the direct quote. Jeremy was a wonderfully 'human' mayor.)

Living the Dream
"A few weeks after returning from New York to California, we got to take another team into a local business that was expanding their premises. In the process, they were concerned about the higher overhead and staffing requirements involved. We repeated some testimonies of what God had been doing in business and then walked throughout the building releasing “Peace to this house.”
As we were about to leave, the CEO received a phone call from one of his staff. He intently listened, then asked the staff person to repeat what he just said so he could put it on speakerphone. We all heard that the company had just been contacted by a business requesting a quote on 25–100 mechanical panels per month. When we asked what this meant, the CEO replied, “Currently we are doing 3–5 per YEAR!” He ended the call and said, "This is stupid," with a big grin on his face.
Next, he busted out his “happy dance” moves. "I’m going back to the office and they will all know—they knew what we were doing over here. Some of them will say, ‘That is so God.’ Others will be thinking, ‘That is spooky.’""
