You know, if you'd told me a year ago I'd soon be uploading five photos a week, I would have smiled nicely, and said "Thank you." Of course, if you'd told me a year ago I could soon be uploading five photos a week, you would have been right!

It's been a fun journey, I've learnt a lot, and I really appreciate the positive feedback from so many people. So, as long as I keep seeing opportunities, it’ll be my pleasure to share my beloved Hawke's Bay with you all - enjoy J

An AOS member stands guard on the intersection - Armed police cordoned off a block each way from the Karamu Rd, Grove Rd, Frederick St intersection, Mayfair, Hastings, after an incident at a nearby property on Karamu Rd, just north of the intersection. AOS Armed Offenders Squad and a dog team used a loudhailer to order the man out. He was accidently shot by a police officer, and was taken to Hawke's Bay Hospital, Hastings, by St John Ambulance. photograph
